The primary objectives of the society:

1) to further scientific progress of veterinary ophthalmology in Asia

2) to promote improved methods of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases in animals

3) to carry on advanced clinical and scientific studies by the dissemination of new information in ophthalmology

4) to establish of recognized, post-graduate training program known as residency training program by Asian College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists

5) to coordinate researches in veterinary ophthalmology in Asia

6) to publish the annual report of the Asian Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology

7) The Society is a non profit-making organization and does not pursue commercial interests
8) Society funds may only be spent according to the constitution.
